We are in a busy generation.
This is the age of “busy-ness” with all the rat race for materialism, egotism, family estrangement, etc, the age of vices, the age that the Scriptures describes as difficult times.
On the other hand, this age is also busy with the right, legitimate things of life which has blinded us to the things of heaven. We are now so occupied that scarcely do we think of the things of heaven.
The people of Noah’s time were flushed away by the flood because of their “busy-ness.” They are rightly busy but guilty.
They are busy, pre-occupied with the legitimate things of life yet they are guilty; “But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered the ark, and they knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” (Matt. 24: 37-39 KJV)
There is no law against eating. No legal implications are associated with drinking. You never commit a crime for marrying or you’re been given in marriage. They are all legitimate “busy-ness” of life but can lead to spiritual “guilty-ness” if care is not taken.
The people were so taken up in all these activities that they never knew when Noah entered the ark. The flood came and wiped them off.
Don’t be too busy in the expense of your heavenly home.
The invited Guests to the Great Feast wee so busy they became guilty and counted themselves unworthy of the honor of the invitation. They all made excuses of being busy and they became guilty.
There is no law, either profane or divine, that forbids property investment, animal husbandry or agricultural practices and marriage. These are all legitimate, valid, genuine, legal and justifiable issues that made busy in the expense and sacrifice of the honor that awaited them at the Great Feast and you know what, they became guilty. Busy but guilty.
Be careful.
You can be doing the right thing, even working for God and yet become guilty.
Be sensitive.
Be on the alert.
The trumpet may sound at any time.
“Know this: A homeowner who knew exactly when a burglar was coming would not permit the house to be broken into. You must be ready all the tine, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.”

Love Yourself And Forfeit Your Life.
The other side to the above statement is hate yourself and gain your life.
It is true; you need to cater for yourself. You need to nurture and make yourself healthy. All these are necessary.
What we are saying is beyond the above. It bears directly on the issue of life. Life means more than the bare necessities of existence. We are talking life abundance. It is this life abundance that makes one a living soul.
When you possess life you live beyond this physical life. There is the hope of after-life.
What is life?
Life means union, union with God the source of life. God is the fountain of life and Christ is the channel of connection.
Hating your life really means forfeiting your life for Christ.
How?
By not living to please self.
By not been conformed to the ideals of the world.
By throwing away the yoke of self governance and putting on the yoke of Christ.
By not been egocentric but Christo-centric yielding unto Christ Jesus.
By been led by the Holy Spirit.
Christ said that if you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give it up for me, you will find it.
If you really love yourself in the real sense of the word, you’ll gladly give it up for Christ. He died for you. He has made you both Priest and King for God. He is coming again for you, so live not to self but for the glory of Him that purchased you for God.

Too Evil, Too Good
The belief of life after death or after-life cuts across nations, tribes, tongues and ethnicity in varying forms, shades, formats and description. There is the place for the “very evil” or “too evil” and there is the place for the “very good” or “too good”.
This idea cuts across. Be it the occidental beliefs or the oriental beliefs. From the North Pole to the South Pole, irrespective of any tribe, race or color. The Greek myth of the Mount Olympus and the Underworld is on this belief system. Mount Olympus is for the “too good” (though the place is froth with discord, quarrels, sensuality and vices among the gods and goddesses) and the Underworld with Hades as its head, the place of the “too evil” or a prison to hold people captive.
The Underworld is always portrayed as a place of damnation for the “too evil” and heaven a place for the “too good”.
Hollywood is not left out on this. Scores of movies have been released and I think may still be released on the end of the “too evil” and the “too good”
They all possess the idea of the place of the end of the good and the bad; But alas! The devil has blinded them to the real truth.
Morality is not the key to heaven. That you’re “too good” does not make you an automatic candidate of the Kingdom. You may be a moralist, philanthropist, social reformer, and a good man in the eye of the world and yet end up “too evil”.
Spirituality is not the key to heaven. You may be spiritual and not be holy. You may be spiritual and not in possession of the Life-Giver. You may be spiritually enlightened and may not be a member of the body of Christ.
The key to heaven is Jesus Christ!
You want to enjoy blissful, happy, joyous after-life?
Have Christ.
Be Christ-compliant.
Take hold of Christ.
Believe Him. Accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. He is the key that opens the door of heaven.
Jesus Christ is the hot-line to the throne of God. He has made the provision for you to make heaven whoever you are or whatever your situation.
Are you “too good”?
Christ is available for you.
Are you “too evil”?
He died purposely for you. He shed His blood that you been “too evil” may become acceptable unto God.
The greatest, unpardonable sin you can commit is to reject Christ’s offered hand of salvation.
The greatest, uncorrectable mistake or error you can make is to die Christ-less.
The claim that Christ made was that “I assure you, anyone who believes in me already has eternal life. Yes, I am the bread of life!”
He is the ONLY person that has ever made such claim and the ONLY one that will ever make such.
“And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so I, the Son of Man, must be lifted up on a pole, so that everyone who believes in me will have eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it. There is no judgment awaiting those who trust him. But those who do not trust him have already been judged for believing in the only Son of God. Their judgment is based on this fact: The light from heaven came into the world, but they loved darkness more than the light, for their actions are evil…And all who believe in God’s Son have eternal life. Those who don’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life, but the wrath of God remains upon them.” (John 3:14-20, 36 NLT)
