What Is Love?

Love is not a gift.
Love is the motivation for giving.
When you love, you expend yourself, time, money, energy, materials, gifts, talents, possession, emotion etc.

-The missing link - Society
-The broken link - denominationalism
-The missing condiment (salt), or the changed/soured,tasteless condiment - Christians
-The wrong premise/foundation - Marriage.

*Why would a leader, in a position of trust, embezzle?
*Why do we have so many broken marriages?
*Why would a man of God, called to minister salvation,to save people from the mouth of hell, refused to preach the Gospel?
*Why is there so many cheatings, unfaithfulness, rancour, chaos, political killing, instability, tribal/ethnic insurrections, ritual killing, etc?
*Why would a Lecturer premised the success of his female students on infatuation, lust, etc?
*Why is it 'back for ground, work for hand' rule is the requirement for been gainfully employed for our females?
*Why would the traders be harding wares?
*Why is there always arbitrary inflation of prices of goods, wares and services without any just cause?
*Why would the people's rights be denied them?
*Why would an employer failed to pay the salary of his employees and yet feel comfortable lavishing money on frivolous things?
*Why is there no more sacredness to human life?
Now, the life of a poultry is more sacred and precious than the life of humans - ritual killings, political killing, hired assassins, cold blooded killings, wars, armed robbery killing, etc are prevalent.
*Why is it that the centre cannot hol, which makes things to fall apart?
*Why? Why? Why?

-A thousand or million whys, yet there's no tangible answer.

Something is wrong, a link has been broken or is missing, a cord has snapped somewhere, an important condiment is missing perhaps turn sour in our societal soup i.e institutions:
- Marriage
- Education -home,moral,etiqquete
- Political -economic, commerce, etc.
- Religions
- Etc.

Let's face it:-
~Why did Joseph refused to compromise in the house of Potipahr?
~Why did he not take it on his brothers, Potiphar's family and all those that bruised him in revenge?
~Why did Moses risked his health many times, interceeding for his people, prostrated, not eating?
~Why did Moses asked God to kill him in order to preserve Israel?
~Why did Ruth face a 'ruthless', hopeless, bleak and uncertain future by following Naomi back to Israel, leaving her people and land?
~Why did David defy death and face Goliath?
~Why di Esther make the 'if I die, I die' resolution?
`Why did Isaiah agree to go 'butt-naked' in his ministry?
~Why was Jeremiah crying, facing opposition?
~For what purpose did Ezekiel act and carry out those instructions even to the point of eating unclean food?
~Why did Daniel throw himself to long periods of fasting?
~Why did Jesus Christ empty Himself of His glory, incrnated, suffer so much and die?
~What on earth motivated Apostle Paul to want his name removed from the Book of Life that his people might be saved i.e Jews - his apparent enemies?
~Why did all the Missionaries we've heard about risk their lives?

Perhaps it's due to:-
The fear of God
The Divine Commission
Because they are called
Materialism
Heroism - making a name for themselves
probably they are adventurous
Maybe they're carzy, stupid or something.
probably it was the 'in-thing' or just sheer
ambition.
Money, prestige, popularity, I seriously doubt
these!
Or is LOVE the motivating factor?
What is love?
Who is love?
Where is love?
How can you love?
When is love in place?
Is there love in you or me?
Do you love?
Do I love?
